Suicide and Self Harm
You should call 999 or go to A&E if you, or someone you know, experiences a life-threatening medical or mental health emergency. These are cases where there is immediate danger to life or physical injury. A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency. If you feel like you may be close to acting on suicidal thoughts or have seriously harmed yourself, you should call 999 or go to A&E directly if you need immediate help and are worried about your safety.
Self Injury Support
We run a UK-wide multi-channel support service for women & girls affected by self-injury, trauma and abuse. Self-injury is often experienced alongside feelings of shame or self-blame. Responses from others who do not understand self–injury can reinforce these feelings. We aim to offer and model acceptance which increases chance of people feeling more accepting towards themselves
Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SOBS)
We are the only organisation offering peer-to-peer support to all those over the age of 18, impacted by suicide loss in the UK. We help those bereaved by suicide to support each other, at the time of their loss and in the months and years that follow.
